Who we are
The Association of Parents, Guardians and Friends of People with Autism in Rethymnon is the only active parent organization that provides support and education services to people with disabilities in the prefecture of Rethymnon with about 200 members.

The colaboration with national and European programs allowed us to network and gave us invaluable connections to important institutions and people in our society.
Work for all
The project ” WORK FOR ALL ” is implemented within the program Active citizens fund , with the implementing body the Association of Parents, Guardians and Friends of People with Autism Rethymnon and partners the IIEK Grant and the Norwegian University OSLO MET . The € 12m Active citizens fund program is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway and is part of the European Economic Area (EEA) funding mechanism for the period 2014 – 2021, known as EEA Grants.
The program aims to strengthen and enhance the sustainability of civil society and to highlight its role in promoting democratic processes, enhancing citizen participation in the community and defending human rights. The management of the Active citizens fund for Greece has been jointly undertaken by the Bodosakis Foundation and SolidarityNow.

The Association of Parents of People with Autism of Rethymnon asks for your support for the organization of the
professional employment laboratory in the Social Hangout for the Disabled of Rethymnon.
Our goal is to work for people with autism and mental disabilities.
Our dream is a quality life without social exclusions!
BECOME A VOLUNTEER
TAnnually our volunteer group has approximately sixty members!! Every year new and old volunteers cooperate with us, with consistency and love. Through the information and training provided to them, they support every project of ours and they truly stand beside us. Everyone offers as much time as he or she can per week, having a specific role in the group or individual programs of each child.
